A Cake on a Stick is the perfect finger food. Like cake balls or cake pops, they are cakes coated entirely in chocolate candy or frosting.
All you need is a little imagination and you will come up with some truly original creations that everyone will be wanting.
I still love round bite-sized cakes as they are so easy to make. However, now that there are tins available in so many shapes and sizes you can be even more creative.
Here are my favorite two trays:
Norpro Nonstick Cake-Sicle Pan with 24 Sticks
The cake-sicle pan bakes 8 mini cakes at a time. Just slip in a stick and start decorating! Use colorful, tasty frostings and sprinkles.
G&S Design 9.2-by-15.4-Inch Lollipop Cookie Pan
This lollipop tray features two butterfly, three tulip, and three flower molds. It is made of commercial-grade bakeware recommended for cookies, cakes, and more with a nonstick baking surface for easy release and clean-up.
These pans both come with 20-25 pop sticks which you will go through in no time if your family loves these treats as much as my family does. Extra popsticks
are also available.
If you are making round cake balls on sticks, you will need Lollipop Sticks
Have fun with all the cakes on a stick you will be creating.
